Leave

Past:

I left the office early.
He left his phone in his car.
She left her keys at a grocery store.
We had left before the trouble started.
They had been leaving but decided to stay.
You left out some important details.

verb phrase: leave out = omit; skip; not include

Present:

I leave the office by 5 p.m.
He leaves his car in the garage.
She leaves her keys in her purse.
We have left the car on occasion.
They have been leaving before us.
You leave out important facts.

Future:

I will leave the office by noon.
He will leave his car in the driveway.
She will leave her keys on the counter.
We will be leaving the office by then.
They will have left by the time we get there.
You will leave out important contributions.
