Fall

Past:

She fell on the grass.
He fell off a bar stool.
We were falling and could not stop.
It was falling down the stairs.
I had been falling on occasion.
The deal they wanted fell through.

verb phrase: fall through = not happen; fail

Present:

She falls safely when she falls.
He falls if he is not careful.
We have fallen from the tree.
It has fallen on the ground.
I have been falling more lately.
They hope the deal does not fall through.

Future:

She will fall forward.
He will fall backward.
We will have fallen together.
It will have fallen without support.
By tonight, the rain will have been falling for hours.
The deal will fall through, unfortunately.
