Noun phrases with their unique prepositions: time to practice some more. To learn them well, say them out loud.

Production of paper money is complicated.
We need to increase production of clarinets.
understanding of X :
Her understanding of English is improving.
My understanding of the Big Bang is limited.
reason for X :
They gave no reason for the change in schedule.
The reason for his departure was not made public.
interest in X :
I just learned about your interest in jazz music.
Do you have any interest in attending the game?
practice with X :
He needs more practice with the flight simulator.
More practice with prepositions can only help.
Note: These noun phrases are not always constructed with only these prepositions. They are just the most common combinations.
