Adjectives
Adjective phrases with their unique prepositions: it's time to practice some more. For the best results, practice by saying them out loud.
confused about X :
He was confused about his responsibilities.
We were all confused about your expectations.
prepared for X :
Will you be prepared for your presentation?
He was unprepared for those questions.
capable of X :
I think he's capable of much more.
Are they incapable of learning for themselves?
comparable to X :
The results were comparable to those of last year.
His outburst was comparable to an explosion.
familiar with X :
Are you familiar with this stuff?
I was unfamiliar with any of it.
Note: These adjectives are not always used with only these prepositions. They are just the most common combinations.
